FSA to ban commission for advisers

This will completely destroy the majority of the professionals in the financial and insurance field, especially small new businesses. Although unfortunately I can see why this was brought about, it would be devastating to the commercial real estate professionals if there would be pressure towards this effect too. Because when people lose money, they tend to look at who brought about their losses, sometimes justifiably (when amateurs or fraudsters are involved) but most of the time not so, because the majority of professionals are truly professionals in their field.
