Christine hi, just wanted to let you know that your friend Sue Horowitz just joined CREOPoint http://creopoint.com/profile/SueHorowitz. In addition to you she heard about CREOPoint in Commercial Property News. Thanks again and enjoy your weekend
Bonjour Christine and thanks for joining the conversation on the financial crisis group. Did you see the Silva video? So many banks about to be sucked in the “black hole”... Given your foreign banking experience I wonder what you think the Japanese and European banks think about holistic banks like Bank of America getting strong in Investment Banking? As you know it's not new in Europe (eg BNP Paribas not that long ago). you may want to post your views on the financial crisis group, I'm sure other members will be interested. Amities, Jean-Claude
Hi Christine - thought I'd check in and say hi as a former NAI colleague and also offer any information you might wish about CREOPoint and be another source of assistance if you have any questions.
Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Chere Christine, I was delighted to see that you recently joined the CREOPoint community. As Founder and President of CREOPoint, my goal is to ensure that you and all our members know where and how to find the information needed from the site, maximize connections and network quickly and efficiently with peers around the globe about key issues. Going forward I will be the one personally answering your emails and updating you of new developments and site functionality.
I noticed your primary interest in joining the site was to network with people interested in global commercial real estate consulting. You have come to the right place! Here’s a few ideas for your consideration:
- Posting a more detailed profile about your cross cultural expertise and clients will improve your rankings in search engines when prospects from around the world look for people with your unique skills. In the meantime I have already featured you as a new member!
- Since you’d probably like to contribute your opinion about issues you care about, you might want to participate in one of our forums or groups through which you can exchange ideas, share opportunities and meet professionals with similar interests (e.g., you could offer your insights in the discussion about China and the Olympics). By actively adding good content to groups, community members further stand out, and we're very pleased that you're taking advantage of this early leadership opportunity.
- As we're building our community together, as discussed it would also be good if you invited a few of your University, US, Chinese, Japanese, French and other friends involved in CRE to sign up. Just add their email addresses to invitations and they will also benefit from a unique online professional social network where they can learn, share and connect better, further and faster.
Meanwhile please do not hesitate to contact me in whatever way you prefer! (This site, firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone +1 914 310 4189). If you have a few minutes, I’d love to schedule a call to get your recommendations about how to improve this site and people I should be talking to.
I'm not sure if I'm the same James Ku, but probably am. I might be acquainted with the people you mentioned as I frequently attend alumni functions in China, but their names don't ring a bell right now. My firm is involved in working with multinationals make direct investments in China and a lot of my work involves real estate issues so I have a good understanding of the process for setting up a real estate investment in China, etc. Would love to talk further to get an understanding of your involvement in China commercial real estate.
