Global credit cruch - how global is it indeed?

You'll all have spent time thinking about and discussing the impact of the 'global' credit crunch. But is it truly global or just as international as the Base Ball World Series?

That apart, we are seeing American companies (eg retailers) who now realize they can’t delay any further their expansion in growing markets. Unfortunately they haven’t done hundreds of international locations studies like you have. Any word of wisdom for them?
