- Professional Experience
George has a significant network of professional associations, NGOs, and public sector groups that provides him with a deep insight into the complexities of sustainability and the dynamic interrelationships between stakeholders.
He also has more than 27 years of domestic and international experience in the corporate sector. Combining my network, corporate experience, and pro bono work makes me fluent in sustainability, workplace solutions, change management, process engineering, and program management.
George joined Business EcoSystems in early 2008 as a partner and sr. speaker leading their strategies and policies practice and overseeing their greenhouse gas management and monetization team. I also provide support to their learning practice as a subject matter expert and speaker/educator.
George spent eight years with Capital One in Corporate Real Estate where, through various roles, I was responsible for corporate sustainability, program and change management, process engineering, transactions, and workplace solutions.
Prior to Capital One, he had a 19 year career with Boeing holding a variety of positions that included regional and global responsibility for managing Boeing’s international real estate and providing technical and advisory infrastructure support to Boeing customers. These included: country manager, China; Asia-Pac regional manager; and manager, Global Real Estate.

Additionally, he founded the facility management degree program at the University of Washington and hold multiple patents related to wireless networking having taught myself electrical engineering and computer programming. George speaks regularly on sustainability, workplace, and change management.
Education
George has a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of Washington, a Masters in Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet Global. He also is a certified scrum master (CSM) and greenhouse gas quantifier (GHG-IQ) with the latter certification issued by the Canadian Standards Association.
George also holds multiple patents related to wireless technologies and speak Mandarin, Japanese, and Russian with varying degrees of fluency.
