Gregory A. Laycock brings 23 years of real estate experience as a Senior Vice President for Grubb & Ellis Company in Washington. Mr. Laycock has been fully engaged in the brokerage and management of investment properties since 1984 and has exclusively represented over $1 billion in investment property transactions. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he practiced public accounting with a regional CPA firm in Seattle.
Mr. Laycock is active investments and development throughout the Metro Puget Sound market in addition to completing major transactions in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho and Oregon. Institutional representations include:

Mr. Laycock has expertise in investment property sales in multifamily and development sites. As an advisor, he is an ongoing court appointed receiver, due to diligence and acquisitions team specialist, and portfolio asset manager. He has exclusively represented individual and foreign investors; private and public developers; pension funds, REITs, life companies, and 1031 investors in complex investment transactions.
Prior to his recent transition to Grubb & Ellis Company, Mr. Laycock served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Fairfield Residential LLC in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Mr. Laycock is a returning veteran of 8 years to Grubb & Ellis, and was the Company’s National Top Multifamily Producer of 1998 and Circle of Excellence recipient.
Mr. Laycock graduated from the University of Washington in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with majors in real estate development, finance, and accounting.
