Josh hi hope you are ready for a relaxing weekend. Please let me know when we could discuss the business plan. I would also enjoy your comment about the discussion "how susceptible is china to the global crisis" on CREOPoint. Best, JC

Dear Josh,

I was delighted to see that you recently joined the CREOPoint community. In my Member services role, my goal is to ensure that you and all our members know where and how to find the information needed from the site, maximize connections and network quickly and efficiently with peers around the globe about key issues.

Going forward I will be the one personally answering your emails and updating you of new developments and site functionality.

I noticed your interesting international background and your desire to connect with new contacts interested in Asian Pacific opportunities and business ventures. I recommend you participate in our Emerging Markets Group/forum which will speed your introduction to some helpful contacts with an interest in networking in Asia. Having posted your detailed profile will improve your rankings in search engines when prospects from around the world search for partnerships and consulting expertise in the Asian market.

In addition, you may want to add one of your relevant articles on local CO opportunities to a blog (to add your first entry, go to your profile and click the "Add Blog Post" link). It would also be good if you invited a few of your local contacts or colleagues to sign up. By actively adding good content to groups, community members stand out, and we're very pleased that you're taking advantage of this early leadership opportunity.

Meanwhile please do not hesitate to contact me in whatever way you prefer! (This site, schesters@creopoint.com, regular e mail at sarachesters@gmail.com or via phone 310 245 2061). Do not forget to leave your phone number and CREOPoint user name and I will call you back as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Sara

Dear Thad,

Nice to hear from you. The markets here have been the polar opposite of the US in the last year, up some 20-30% across every sector. They have paused in the last 3 months but have not weakened and are forecast by every bank/real estate group to continue to be strong, driven by demand as companies re-focus efforts on Asia as the next long-term growth market. We shall see. If you hear of clients looking at China please let me know as I believe outbound referrals from the US to Asia will grow in the coming years - we've already seen this start with several industrial assignments.
Best regards,
Josh

Josh: I hope all is well with you. How is the real estate market in your part of the world? Our economy is struggling both here and abroad and real estate is taking a beating. Like most difficulties however, they come and go. We are looking forward to better times. Take care.
