RESPONSIBILITIES
Mr. Piscoran is an industrial property and land specialist focused primarily in the Metropolitan Chicago region, his extensive client network occasionally involves assignments in the Upper Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions as well. He specializes in working with tenants, owners, developers and institutions in the sale, leasing, build-to-suits of industrial projects, vacant land, procurement and development.
Michael brings to projects his in-depth experience involving over 450 closed transactions with a value in excess of $500 million and a high level of enthusiasm and dedication.
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Piscoran is Chicago based, prior associations include, the Grubb & Ellis Company, Sperry Van Ness, Cushman & Wakefield Worldwide and Inland Real Estate Group during his twenty-two year career to date. Mr. Piscoran also launched the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning Site Survey Program, a City of Chicago initiative aimed at revitalizing the industrial core of the City.
With over 23 years of brokerage experience, he has focused on the sale and leasing of industrial and technological facilities, tenant representation in build-to-suit transactions, and the sale of vacant land throughout Metropolitan Chicago.
EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
A resident of Wheaton, IL, Michael is a 1985 graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Finance, and is a licensed Illinois real estate salesperson. He remains active in numerous professional, civic and community affairs and holds the distinguished Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) designation. Additionally, he is an active member of Rotary International, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP); the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE); and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Piscoran has also served on the East/West Expressway Advisory Planning Board (1995-1997); and served on the Board of Directors of Provena/Mercy Center Hospital, based in Aurora, IL.(1993-2006). Mr. Piscoran continues his service in numerous local and regional Chairs of the Rotary International.
