- My firm has a commercial real estate practice that emphasizes acquisitions, tax-free exchanges, sales and financings of commercial properties throughout the country. We also specialize in office, retail, and net leasing on behalf of both domestic and international owners and tenants. On behalf of a number of public and private clients I have been involved in the development of large-scale residential and senior housing development projects, including site acquisition, construction financing, and condominium offerings. I have been with Goldfarb & Fleece since 1986, becoming a partner in 1990. Goldfarb & Fleece is one of the few commercial real estate boutiques in New York City. All 21 of our lawyers are commercial real estate specialists. Prior to joining Goldfarb & Fleece, I practiced in the real estate department of Graubard Moskovitz McGoldrick Dannett & Horowitz in Manhattan. I am a member of the New York State Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York (former member real estate section sub-committee on condominiums and cooperatives), American Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, and International Council of Shopping Centers and Real Estate Board of NY. I was elected to Superlawyers in 2008 and 2009. I received my B.A. magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1978. I received my J.D. from Emory University in 1981. My wife is a practicing attorney in Manhattan and Westchester. We have two sons.
