- Randy Hollister is a commercial broker who began his real estate career in 1978. For most of those years his focus has been studying and driving the technology that continues to transform the real estate business. In 2005, his contributions to the industry were recognized when Inman News named Randy one of the country's ‘100 Most Influential People in Real Estate.’
A nationally known public speaker, Randy has delivered on-site technology seminars and keynote addresses in 41 states, and routinely presents online technology programs to users across the country. Randy’s tech presentations are popular for their entertaining style and his strict pledge to never use ‘geek-speak’ nor ‘techno-babble.’ His sessions are always filled with practical ideas that can be put to immediate use.
Randy is a founding partner of Batworx LLC and co-creator of the company’s popular and award-winning real estate web applications. Prior to launching Batworx in 2002, Hollister was for five years the National Speaker for REALTOR.com, the Internet’s leading real estate site, and served as a consultant advising many of the industry’s largest firms on their Internet strategies. His early real estate career included more than ten years managing a real estate development company and six years as CFO and corporate broker for a large regional leasing and property management firm.
Hollister graduated from San Francisco State University in 1974 with a B.A. in Business. He has earned the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager designation conferred by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Management, and was among the first in the country to be awarded the National Association of REALTORS’ e-PRO certification for Internet real estate professionals.
