Good news... This forum was been set up to allow productive discussions before, during and after Realcomm 09. Social media was in its early days in CRE then but, Chris Saah, Moderator of the Social Media panel in 2001 thought it was time to have an ongoing conversation. You are all welcome to join the conversation, even if you have to join us remotely here.
209 notes:
We'll start with a conversation about past, current, and future role of Web 2.0 in our companies IT strategies. We'd like to know what's on your mind, what you have tried or implemented. If you all let us know your questions, as well as your organization and personal pain points, we'll combine and address them. If you'd like you can also ask others as you see fit by sharing this link www.creopoint.com/profile/Realcomm.
The term "Web 2.0" refers to a perceived second generation of Web development and design that aims to facilitate communication, secure information sharing, interoperability, and collaboration on the Internet. There is no doubt that sites such as FaceBook, Twitter, and MySpace have made their way into daily life, but even though sites such as LinkedIn exist for working professionals, has Web 2.0 really made its way into the day-to-day business environment?
