Charles is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Business. He has have been employed by local law and brokerage firms in Madison, WI. He has worked with several Counselor's of Real Estate during his career. He has also worked with Principal Global Investors within their real estate investment platform.
More recently, after graduating from the UW-Madison, for 3.5 years he represented Horizon Group Properties, Inc. which primarily is a retail shopping center developer focusing on locations in the United States and Asia. The firm had approximately 2.0 million square feet of retail space under management and 1.0 million in the development pipeline.
Charles executed roles in finance, leasing, property management, and development. He qualified and assisted with directly closing deals netting over $190,000 in annual income through leasing and $3.0 million through land sales to the firm during the Great Recession. He presented over $400 million in retail assets to prospective capital sources with financial models in Excel and Argus and detailed marketing packages with power point presentations. Furthermore, he automated accounting and reporting processes through the creation of computer codes.
Currently, Charles works with Jones Lang Lasalle representing Fortune 500 firms' real estate portfolios.
