Confession of Judgment

Can anyone help me to better understand the Confession of Judgment we put in our leases (at least in PA)? I have read them and know there are two parts Confession for Money and a Confession for Possession. I'd like to know if there is a practical legal advantage this gives the Landlord once the Tenant goes into default. Is it that great of an advantage to really fight for it? And many times when we do fight for it we end up with the Confession for Money out and the Confession for Possession…See More

Searching for a particular article

Years ago I was reading an article about a landlord who leased the middle floor in an office building to a prison to hold prisoners. The floor was empty and some of the other floors had office tenants. It was an interesting article and it presented certain ramifications for the landlord after some time.Does this sound familiar to you? I think it happened in New Jersey. I am trying to locate that article, I would greatly appreciate any help.See More

Is the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Market coming to a standstill?

I find it amazing that Harrisburg and the rest of South Central Pennsylvania has been well protected from economic blasts occurring elsewhere in the nation over the past years.
