As part of a company-wide commitment to sustainable work environments, Comfort Systems USA Energy Services has elected to acquire Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Commercial Interiors (LEED® CI) certification forits office space. LEED certification isthe internationally recognized green building certification system from the U.S.Green Building Council. Working togetherwith Griffin Land, Comfort Systems USA Energy Services has applied for agold-level rating, one of the highest LEED certifications available. “Working with Comfort Systems USA EnergyServices on the LEED certification has been a fascinating and rewarding process”, said Tim Lescalleet, Senior Vice President of Griffin Land. “Many of our building components and systems, and also our green oriented management practices, are applicable for LEED
certification. This has provided much leverage to Comfort Systems USA Energy Services in their goal to achieve the LEED Gold designation.”
